Okanagan Lifestyle was founded on the principles of celebrating the unique landscape of the valley and connecting the community through apparel people are proud to wear.
The design
OLA featured three core logos, our “Classic” full logo, the “Icon” logo which features the 4 icons, and the “OKGN” text logo.
Apparel design
The product selection is monochromatic in the efforts to outlast any fad. The pieces carry minimalistic designs, it’s more about what the apparel inspires you to do in the community versus what is actually printed on each piece. Four simple letters or icons carry a lot of weight to people.
Retail strategy
You’ll only find OLA products at locally owned shops, the retailers were partners. To me, it was just as important to see people go to the local shops, as it was for us to sell the product. Doing this has clearly defined OLA’s commitment to its community, while also showcasing its choices in brand alignment.
Community Partnerships
lululemon - created a limited edition 100 piece clothing capsule with the local Kelowna store
Canoe Coffee - created the ‘97 Blend’ coffee with local coffee roaster
BNA Brewing Co. - created a limited release OKGN beer using all Okanagan based ingredients
